Why we built Seared

Independent restaurants built American food culture. They taught us what to eat, how to eat, and what to celebrate. Then the tech industry showed up and started taking 30% of every order, charging per terminal, locking owners into multi-year contracts, and treating the businesses that built our communities like line items on a quarterly earnings report.

We started Seared because we got tired of watching it happen.

Seared is $500/month, flat. That includes your custom website, online ordering system, branded mobile app, loyalty program, automated marketing, and analytics dashboard. No setup fees. No contracts. Cancel anytime.
Not on your side. The transaction fee is paid by the customer at checkout, not deducted from your menu price. It's a small 5% fee with a hard cap of $7.50 per order, so even on a big catering order the customer never gets hit with some runaway percentage. You keep 100% of your menu price.
No. Seared is month-to-month. If it's not working for your restaurant, cancel and you're done. We don't believe in locking restaurants into multi-year deals.
